About me
I am a career educator with experience as a teacher, mentor teacher, teacher-leader, department chair, assistant principal, principal, mentor principal, principal supervisor, and district leader. I have worked in district schools, charter schools, and private schools. In my school-based roles, I worked in middle school and high school, including as a math teacher and an English grammar teacher. Further, I have co-founded three schools.
I have held executive roles in small and mid-sized non-profits, four of which I co-founded. In my district leadership roles, I have led teacher evaluation, principal evaluation, and leadership development. I have been an adjunct lecturer for four colleges of education and have done research nationally for a 5th university, including as a Project Director for a national publication on charter schools.
My volunteer work includes leading programming in support of women, voter registration and education, addressing human trafficking and domestic violence, blood drives, toy drives, college scholarships, community forums and panels, social impact entrepreneurship, and DEI planning and professional development.
I currently consult as an executive coach, instructional coach, and organizational coach in the areas of strategic planning, DEI, curriculum and instruction, and operations and systems for schools, school systems, and nonprofit organizations.
